I have a deep sense of love and compassion for others, which is why I've dedicated myself to helping people find emotional healing and balance. My goal is to help you heal, reduce symptoms, make changes, and build the self-esteem needed to become the best version of yourself.

My communication style

My communication is warm, patient, and affirming. I really listen to my clients, as sometimes this is the only space they have to be vulnerable and open up. I don't judge; this is paramount in effective therapy. You can talk to me, I listen, but I also provide perspective and guidance. I'm here to help, whatever that may look like for you.

My journey to mental healthcare

I worked at a residential shelter with children who were abused and neglected, developing symptoms of trauma, depression, and anxiety. My heart grew as I provided comfort and support. I branched into group practice working with children and parents, which led to couples counseling.

The first session is fundamental in setting a foundation where you feel comfortable. We will learn about each other and get an understanding of what brings you to counseling, problem areas and patterns you wish to improve, the outcome you'd like to achieve, and the type of support you need.
