I hold certifications in trauma and trauma-related issues such as anxiety and depression. I also hold certifications in functional medicine and integrated health.

My focus

I work with women who have had anxiety or depression. Many of them have had traumatic pasts. Additionally, I work with ADHD and PTSD, as well as daily life problems or relationship issues.

My approach

I'll use solution-focused, reality-based theories. I use mindfulness and areas of somatic healing.

My communication style

I am calm and direct. Some clients are more ready or have had more experience in therapy. Others are new and need to go slow. I am patient and bring a grounding influence to the environment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have endured many traumas throughout my youth and adulthood. It only seemed natural as I was working through my healing to help others.

Typically, during the intake, we discuss the issues that they have been having, and we help them set a goal.

My first session is normally an intake. During an intake, I gather information, get to know them, and allow them to ask questions with me.
