My communication style

While working with me, you will find a very comfortable, interactive experience. People find it very easy to talk with me and open up about what they are dealing with. This builds a strong therapeutic alliance that creates the best outcomes.

My journey to mental healthcare

As a young child, I knew I wanted to be a counselor and help others through difficult times. My own difficult childhood made it easier for me to connect with clients, empathize, understand many situations, and assist them with overcoming symptoms that plague trauma survivors.

My goals for you

My approach to goal setting is to allow my clients to direct their goals unless I see something that will be beneficial for them to work on. If I see something, I will discuss with my client what that is and ask if that is something they would like to add to a treatment goal.

Our first session

During the first session, we will complete an intake, which will be a lot of questions, but I promise I will make this as comfortable a process as possible.
