Hi there, I'm Christine!

We have all experienced hard things in our lives. But sometimes that stuff gets stuck and shows up as depression, anxiety, relationship problems, or addictions. I would love to help you weed out that old stuff so you can show up and feel more present and alive in the life you are living.

My focus

If you are interested in digging a little deeper and figuring out why you feel or act the way you do in certain situations, and want to learn how to show up as your best self, then I would love to help you with this work.

My approach

Trauma is created in how your nervous system shuts down or revs up, and the thoughts and feelings you rehearse over and over about the event. Using EMDR and other evidence-based approaches, I can help you reprocess those past experiences so they are not so disturbing. This will open the door for you to gain new insight and learn effective skills.

My communication style

I have a gentle, kind, and compassionate communication style. I feel it is a gift and a privilege that most people feel comfortable opening up and sharing their most vulnerable selves with me.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always wanted to do something to help people overcome the consequences of their past. I have had my own challenges and hardships to overcome, but I think I have navigated them well and have used them to become stronger and more confident, and I want to help others do the same.

My goals for you

I try to help clients focus on setting goals that they have power and control over achieving. How can they shift how they are thinking, feeling, and reacting to move towards the results they want. How can they show up as their best self even when those around them are not.

Our first session

I am going to want to get a detailed history, not just of the presenting problem, but your whole life around it, looking for ways different things may be contributing to the problem at hand. Over time, as we work together, a new, more empowering story will emerge.
