Hi there, I'm Margaret!

I want to start off by saying kudos to you for putting yourself out here and looking for a therapist. Starting can be one of the hardest steps. I am a clinical social worker who started my career in hospital social work, where I saw how all aspects of our lives are connected.

My focus

My ideal working relationship with a client is that of partnership and collaboration. I will ask you to challenge yourself in new ways and try new things. You are the expert on this, and I highly value your expertise. I ask for open, honest communication, and I will give the same.

My approach

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy through a trauma-informed lens. I work with many different individuals with differing conditions. The main concerns I work with are depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, grief, stress, and life transitions.
