Therapy is a tool and supportive environment to overcome life's challenges. Change can be uncomfortable, but it comes through action. Challenges can be overcome even if the process is temporarily accompanied by discomfort.

My focus

I have experience working with military, veteran, and first responder populations. I am a veteran myself. I also focus on populations that have been challenged with achieving measurable, sustainable results after participating in therapy. My approach centers on working with those seeking change.

My approach

I work from a positive psychology, solution-focused approach. I utilize ACT, SFT, BSFT, CBT, PET, reality therapy, narrative therapy, MBSR, and other evidence-based modalities to support your growth and healing.

My communication style

The therapeutic setting is empathic and supportive, but also direct and challenging. Change is difficult, and therapy can be very uncomfortable, but overcoming a challenge is invaluable for the individual or couple who can set the goal they wish to achieve.

My journey to mental healthcare

Originally, I was on a career path that specialized in cardiology; however, I found a path that supported working with hearts and minds, and that was the path I became passionate about. I thoroughly enjoy the journey I am honored to take with anyone I work with.
