Life happens to everyone. No one gets through unscathed. My focus to help you feel like you're not alone and get through the challenges. I also believe that we get better. My approach is to work with you and help you have the life you want

My focus

I've worked with Service Members, Veterans, and their families, and other trauma survivors for over 20 years. I have also served individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. I treat the individual, not just the problem

My approach

I use a person-centered approach and work with you to help you feel understood. Since you're the expert in your life, we will work together. My approach is based on your needs. Let's get to know each other. I believe there's a difference between practicing therapy and providing care. I hope to do both

My communication style

I love the people I serve and hope to really connect. At times, I use humor and plain talk versus "therapy talk" and try to identify which style works best for you. A large part of my communication style involves active listening and helping you feel understood.

I've been a Social Worker my entire adult life. I love the people I serve and am grateful to share in each persons journey.
