Hi there, I'm Tamar!

I see our time together as YOUR time. I aim to make the therapeutic space your safe space to talk about anything and everything you are comfortable sharing. I believe you are the expert in your life, and I am there as a guide and helper to support you with gaining the tools to be successful in this thing called life.

My focus

Whether you are new to therapy or you are continuing your therapy journey, I can meet you where you are. We can discuss symptoms of depression, anxiety, and/or trauma to work towards your growth and recovery. You know best what a life worth living looks like. I will work alongside you to make that a reality.

My approach

I believe it is important for me to listen first, then speak. It helps me to get to know you and also helps you to recognize patterns that you may not readily recognize if you otherwise suppress your thoughts and feelings. I am able to assign skills practice in between sessions or focus on skills practice within the session.
