Hi there, I'm Kaitlyn!

Yoo-hoo! I am so glad that you are here. I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2022, focusing on grief and loss, but not just death— the loss of hope, disappointment, and change. During the day, I work in a K-12 public school system, focusing on bringing mental health services to my rural community.

My focus

While I do enjoy working with children, I find that working with young adults going through those big years of change is where I can provide the most support.

My approach

I strive to offer a calm, relaxed environment— while also balancing between being really casual and your biggest cheerleader. This experience is yours, so I like to check in with my clients to adjust our goals and to ensure I am providing them with the most appropriate treatment modality. We are a team, so working together is really important!

I’m a direct, but casual kind of therapist. This is only life, after all— so my goal is to provide a safe space for you to take whatever you need from therapy.

My journey to mental healthcare

As someone who grew up in a rural community with many unmet mental health needs, I grew up wanting to be the person I always hoped to find. Someone relatable, compassionate, and understanding.
