Hi there, I'm Brandee!

I base my practice on a strengths-based approach, helping my clients learn tools to manage many diagnoses. I specialize in therapy for children and families, as well as anxiety, depression, and concerns with low self-esteem.

My focus

I typically treat children ages 9-18 and adults. I have experience in treating ADHD, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and PTSD.

My approach

I use a strengths-based approach, and my primary theoretical approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Most of my treatment is based on play therapy modalities.

My communication style

It is always my goal to create a warm, safe, and judgment-free therapeutic space for my clients to feel comfortable sharing.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always had a passion for helping others, and after transitioning away from HIV prevention education, therapy was the logical next step. I love working with children because, often, their voices are overlooked. Providing therapy to children allows me to help their voices be heard and remind them that they matter.
