We all experience periods in our lives in which we may not have all the answers or make the right choices. At times, we may also feel that no one can understand or relate to us due to our individual differences. My diverse background and resiliency have assisted in my ability to relate to individuals regardless of their socioeconomic status.
My focus
I work with adolescents, children, adults, couples, and the LGBTQ population. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, grief/loss, ADD, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and family therapy.
My approach
I believe a key component of therapeutic relationships is the establishment of rapport and creating trust while maintaining professional boundaries. My areas of training include Substance Abuse, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Family Therapy.
