I understand the importance of establishing trust and rapport. As such, I offer a person-centered environment utilizing active listening and unconditional positive regard, free from judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I come from a long line of mental health providers and educators who inspired me to pursue becoming part of the helping community. I earned my Master's Degree in 1996 and an addiction specialty in 2007.

My goals for you

I collaborate with clients to meet their treatment goals. Interventions include CBT, EMDR, and Patrick Carnes' approach to sex addiction.

Our first session

Our 1st session will focus on establishing rapport and obtaining the information needed to complete a bio-psychosocial assessment. I discuss evidence-based practice, begin a collaborative treatment plan, establish a follow-up schedule, and provide activities for future sessions. The session usually takes about an hour.
