Hi there, I'm Lauren!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Tennessee and Virginia and a registered telehealth provider in Florida. I offer warm, collaborative, trauma-informed therapy for women navigating low sexual desire, intimacy and relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

My focus

I primarily work with adult women experiencing low sexual desire, changes in libido, intimacy concerns, desire discrepancy, sexual shame, and relationship challenges. I also support women navigating anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions that may affect sexual and emotional well-being.

My approach

My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and sex-positive, with a focus on women’s sexual well-being, desire, intimacy, and relationships. I integrate person-centered therapy, CBT, attachment and relational approaches, mindfulness, and strengths-based work to support insight, confidence, and meaningful change.

My communication style

I create a warm, relaxed, and nonjudgmental space where clients can talk openly about sensitive or personal concerns, including sex and intimacy. My style is supportive, conversational, and gently direct. I use thoughtful questions, practical feedback, and humor when appropriate to help clients feel comfortable and understood.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to social work because I value helping people feel heard, understood, and supported through difficult seasons. Over 15+ years in mental health, I’ve become especially passionate about helping women navigate emotional and relational concerns, including the often-overlooked areas of sexual well-being, desire, and intimacy.

I approach goals collaboratively and at your pace, focusing on what meaningful change looks like for you. Together, we identify practical, realistic goals related to emotional well-being, relationships, intimacy, sexual health, confidence, or life transitions, and adjust them as your needs evolve.

Our first session

Our first session is a chance to get to know you, understand what brings you to therapy, and clarify what you hope will change. We’ll explore relevant emotional, relational, and sexual-well-being concerns at a pace that feels comfortable, while beginning to identify goals and next steps together.
