My approach is collaborative and empowering. I believe in working through personal traumas and/or stressors that may disrupt daily functioning. Together, we will improve self-esteem, coping skills, and sense of worth.

To foster a safe space, I prioritize empathetic, warm, non-judgmental, and honest communication. I believe in not only supporting but also challenging my clients by providing feedback that fosters long-lasting change.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey into therapy started 10 years ago when I began working with trauma survivors on the island of Hawaii. I saw the power of healing through connection, empathy, and healthy communication. I am a firm believer that positive change can occur even in our darkest moments.

Our first session is solely focused on building rapport and gaining your trust. Healing is not an overnight process, and it is normal to have hesitation about taking the first step into this journey. I am here to support and guide you through this process.
