My focus
Clients who see the most improvement with me are often men of color. I pride myself on filling this niche and allowing space for constituents who fit this mold because, statistically speaking, there are not very many males of color within my role, and clients who identify as such generally tend to connect with me on a deeper level.
My approach
I use an amalgamation of different modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), just to name a few. I use these in tandem with each other in hopes to achieve your goals the quickest. I also always check in to see if you are getting what you need out of therapy.
