I set the tone for safe boundaries so you can work on your 'stuff' without fear of judgment or previous trauma hijacking your session.

My journey to mental healthcare

I’m an Army Combat Veteran and Licensed Clinical Social Worker who came to this work after my own experiences navigating trauma, failed relationships, and a system that often felt cold and confusing. I trained specifically in trauma-focused approaches so that I could offer the kind of real, human therapy I struggled to find.

My goals for you

I help clients reach their goals by truly listening and clarifying the difference between emotional desires and measurable progress. My approach keeps you—not a medical model—at the center of care, focusing on real, meaningful change grounded in your values and experiences.

Our first session

The first session with you is the most important. Your guard is likely high, your anxieties even higher. I attempt to bridge the medical needs of our session (e.g. paperwork) as well as introduce myself and answer any questions. This process sets the tempo for the work ahead. It's behaviors over words with me. I will do the work to earn your trust.
