If you're struggling to cope with life's challenges, I'm here to help. I work with adults and believe therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. I take a collaborative approach to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be. My motto: life is about making positive movements forward.

My focus

I love working with marginalized communities, including LGBTQIA+ individuals and persons of color. I support people experiencing generational trauma, survivors of physical and sexual abuse, and those navigating life transitions.

My approach

I use a trauma-informed, person-centered approach to understand you and your concerns. Together, we'll identify ineffective patterns and beliefs affecting how you see yourself and relate to others. We'll deepen your strengths and build coping, communication, and social skills using CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and ACT.

My communication style

I'm all about open, honest conversations in a safe space where you feel comfortable being yourself. I listen closely and offer space to reflect on what you're going through. When things get tough, you can count on me to stay calm, patient, and understanding.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to therapy started when I saw the positive impact it had on my younger sister and our family. As I got older, I realized friends came to me during tough times because I was a good listener. That led me to pursue social work and the clinical route.

Therapy is a partnership. We'll develop goals important to you and continuously evaluate if they're working or if we need to change course. I want you to feel you're getting what you want and need from our sessions.

We'll have an open conversation about what you're looking for in a therapist to ensure we align. We'll lay the groundwork for our therapeutic relationship, discuss your past and expectations, and if we're a match, schedule ongoing sessions.
