Hi there, I'm Rana!

As a mental health counselor, I provide holistic support to my clients, taking into account the emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of a person. I work with people who have anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and trauma.

My focus

I am comfortable with clients across all walks of life and specialize in treating trauma or adverse life events.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is rooted in a humanistic framework. I believe that as people, we have the capacity and desire to grow and change. With support and tools, I believe that anyone can reach their goal. I walk alongside my clients while supporting them to reach their larger therapy goals.

My communication style

I am a laid-back and supportive clinician. I take a collaborative person-centered approach and gently move clients forward when in a stuck place.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have my own lived experience with mental health challenges, including trauma and ADHD. I have two children with significant mental health challenges, including anxiety and ADHD. Giving to others what I wish I would have had to navigate life's twists and turns is what drives my passion and career trajectory.

My goals for you

I take a collaborative goal-setting approach with clients. I believe it is important for clients to assist with creating their goals and assist with goals as appropriate.

Our first session

The first session will focus on the creation of a biopsychosocial assessment and getting to know one another. During the first session, we will assess for goodness of fit and take steps towards creating goals.
