Life can be challenging and may feel overwhelming at times. Maybe you have been struggling for a very long time, or maybe something more recent has come up. I want you to know that you don't have to struggle alone. I am here to listen and to help you explore those things in life that are interfering with your health and happiness.

My focus

Struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or relationship issues? I work with adult clients across the lifespan to develop skills to improve their quality of life. Together, we will create a plan to help you address your personal struggles and goals and decide on a course of action that feels most appropriate for you.

My approach

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore how thoughts affect feelings and behaviors. I am comfortable with a variety of therapies and work to find an individualized/collaborative approach that matches your unique needs and preferences. I like to help people develop tools and strategies to improve their overall well-being.

I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment with clear, open communication. I aspire to be an "active listener," providing an empathetic partnership while allowing you to reflect on your unique experiences. A supportive environment is something you can depend on.

My journey to mental healthcare

My therapy journey began with a belief in our human potential and has been strengthened by witnessing great healing potential working with clients who have dealt with some very extreme trauma and mood instability. and co-occurring disorders (substance use and mental health). We can all heal and experience lasting change.

Therapy is a partnership built on respect and honesty. We will work together to clarify and prioritize your goals and create actionable steps to achieve them. Periodically, we will assess our progress to make sure we are working on the things you feel are most important and in a manner that is most appropriate for you.
