I specialize in anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and insomnia. Whether you are experiencing one or all of these issues, there is a lot we can do together to improve your quality of life.

My approach

I work primarily from a cognitive behavioral therapy approach, but we also work together to look at how your relationships, lifestyle, and other areas of your life are impacting your symptoms.

My communication style

Sessions with me are a safe, supportive and non-judgmental experience. My goal is to help you understand yourself and your situation and to provide you with practical tools to help you take back control in your life.

My journey to mental healthcare

My biological parents became foster parents when I was an adolescent, and I believe my journey in social work began then. I made helping others my career, and I am so glad I did.

Together, we set the goals for treatment and what you want to achieve in working with me. Each session, we will address your goals and make sure you feel you are making meaningful progress.

Our first session

Our first session together will be information gathering so that I can understand you and your needs better. I also make sure that you have the opportunity to ask questions you might have for me or about how treatment with me works. It truly is a collaborative process.
