My journey to mental healthcare

A family member struggled with depression—she felt stigmatized and didn't accept her diagnosis. After persuasion, she agreed to seek care, and it was fulfilling to see her return to her normal self. Mental health struggles are often misunderstood, leaving people feeling isolated or hopeless. I'm driven by the opportunity to change that.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting as a collaborative and evolving process. Early on, I focus on building a shared understanding of what you want from treatment—whether that's symptom relief, improved functioning, emotional regulation, or deeper self-awareness. Together, we clarify what progress looks like for you.

Our first session

My priority is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. We'll discuss what brought you in and what you hope to get out of treatment. I'll ask about your mental health history, current concerns, daily functioning, and any prior treatment. By the end, we'll begin to outline a plan together.
