Hi there, I'm Athena!

Starting therapy is a huge decision; congratulations on being here! I'm here to support you and help you navigate a therapeutic experience that will bring meaning to you and help you meet your goals. I take a client-centered, solution-focused, and collaborative approach, meeting each client where they are at.

My focus

I enjoy working with youth and young adults who are struggling to feel connected to a purpose. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or trauma, I strive to work with all of my clients to identify goals and build coping skills that will allow each individual to reach their ideal level of functioning.

My approach

I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy as a base to help identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns that may be inhibiting growth towards your goals. I use motivational interviewing to help identify goals and direction. I also use other approaches, such as mindfulness, when appropriate.
