Hi there, I'm Krystal!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Arizona and an LMHC in Washington State. I have multiple certifications to treat mental and behavioral conditions. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist for individuals, families, and sexual exploitation and trafficking victims.

My focus

I treat a wide variety of clientele and have worked in various settings in the mental health field.

My approach

I have a person-centered eclectic approach to therapy. I have a certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and am a Certified First Responder Counselor. I have worked within the behavioral health field with adult SMI clients, high-need teens, male parolees, residential substance abuse treatment, and at-risk teens who were sex-trafficked.

My communication style

I work from a supportive, direct approach. I do not believe that a one-size-fits-all mentality is the best practice.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am a State Board Certified Counselor and a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Counseling Association. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hunter College in New York, NY, and my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University.
