My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up in a family deeply rooted in ministry—both my parents were ordained ministers and built a congregation in East Greenbush, NY. But at 15, my world shifted dramatically. My mother, awarded a full scholarship for a master's degree in social work at SUNY Albany, died from AIDS contracted during a blood transfusion—a tragedy stemming

My goals for you

I am known for blending different evidence-based methods—Rapid Resolution Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Post-Traumatic Growth, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy—which are personally tailored plans for each individual.

Our first session

You will have the opportunity to discuss why you decided to seek therapy. This includes sharing symptoms, life changes, or general feelings of distress. Questions will be asked to understand your situation better, but it’s important to remember that this is not an interrogation; the goal is to create a comfortable environment.
