My communication style

As a patient-centered provider, I not only apply empathy but I also implement the golden rule of "treating others the way I would like to be treated". I create a comfortable and listening environment for my clients because we all want to be heard.

My journey to mental healthcare

I worked as an oncology nurse before transitioning to psychiatry. I was humbled by the mental health struggles encountered by my patients and the exacerbation of medical conditions, and I wished I could do more for them. This inspired my focus on holistic mental health care.

My goals for you

I do not set goals for my clients but set goals with them. We establish both short and long-term goals that are feasible and realistic. Together, we work toward managing mental health struggles so you can live a fulfilled life with the tools and support you need.

Our first session

Our first session is about getting to know each other better and establishing rapport in a trustworthy environment. We'll identify your mental health struggles and challenges that exacerbate signs and symptoms, creating a foundation for our work together.
