Hi there, I'm Melissa!

Stress, anxiety, and relationship issues can steal your joy. I'm here to help you communicate effectively, implement healthy boundaries, and cope with anxious thoughts so you can reclaim peace. As someone who has overcome my own struggles with self-worth, I enjoy helping others discover their true value and learn to love who they are.

My focus

I love working with couples and have specialized training to help you get to the root of relationship issues, reconnect with yourself, and restore deep connection with each other. I also work with individuals to help you discover your best self, develop fulfilling relationships, and learn to love yourself in or out of a relationship.

My approach

I offer both clinical and faith-based biblical counseling in a relaxed environment where you can talk through adverse experiences, explore your hopes and dreams, and make a plan to reach your goals. Together, we'll work to help you become the person you're meant to be.

My communication style

My hope is for you to feel relaxed and accepted in our sessions. I want it to be a safe place where you can share adverse experiences, express your hopes and dreams, and let your guard down. I like to be able to laugh at times and have a little fun in the session, too.

My journey to mental healthcare

People felt comfortable talking to me about their issues from a young age, and I decided this was my path. After experiencing childhood trauma and addiction, I found freedom and felt compelled to help others find the same. I know how far life can beat you down, but there's always a path forward, and sometimes we just need help finding it.

My goals for you

I use cognitive-behavioral therapy to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns. This hands-on approach gives you tools to feel more in control of your emotions and behaviors. Together, we'll identify challenges and work on strategies to help you move forward towards your goals.

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss your background and what brings you to therapy. Therapy is a process and we'll work together to move you towards your goals. You won't be alone anymore. I'm here to help you and guide you one step at a time.
