My communication style

I like to remain in a calm state during the session. I believe that there are times when the clients need to borrow from my energy in order to center themself. Even though I like to remain calm and level-headed, I still like to joke and be light-hearted with my clients.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always wanted to help people. I feel as though that is the best and easiest way to explain why I became a therapist. I believe there is a great strength that comes through talking about and overcoming the problems that try to overtake your life.

My goals for you

I like to help my client reach the finish line rather than pull them across. I believe that therapy is collaborative, so as the client succeeds, I can succeed. I want to help my clients by establishing clear goals and measurable objectives along the way.

Our first session

The first session with me is comparable to a first date with a potential partner. I believe in keeping the first session light. It is more about getting to know each other than getting to know the issues. I want the client to feel comfortable before pouring out their heart to me.
