I communicate with my patients in a direct, but non-threatening and welcoming way. We are all humans - created in the image of God - and should be shown respect while being told the truth.

My journey to mental healthcare

I started my nursing career over 20 years ago. I have spent the majority of my time as an ICU nurse. When COVID struck, the need for mental health providers skyrocketed. I found it unacceptable for patients to be waiting a year to see a provider, and I became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through Frontier Nursing University.

My goals for you

Treatment goals are specific to each individual. We will work together to determine your priorities and what you would like to focus on first. Together, we can come up with a plan that works for you, whether that includes medications, supplements, or therapy alone.

Our first session

Our first visit together involves getting to know you. We dive into your physical and mental health history. It is important for an in-depth and accurate history to be obtained when medications are potentially involved. I hope you leave the visit feeling like you were truly heard and valued as a person.
