Hi there, I'm Erin!
I am a clinical mental health counselor and I identify as neurodivergent. I want to provide a safe, affirming space for other neurodivergent adults, families, and supports. Acceptance in sessions and space to unmask can be very healing. I have 17 years of experience working with adults and a wide range of circumstances.
My focus
I work best with adults who are open to sharing their unique experiences and finding ways to cope with life’s stressors. Mental health issues I am most familiar with are ADHD, anxiety/panic, co-occurring anxiety and depression, insomnia, anger and emotional dysregulation, and family/attachment trauma or C-PTSD.
My approach
I am a creative counselor who will blend a variety of techniques seamlessly based on who you are and what is happening in the session. I often blend cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, dialectical behavioral, and somatic approaches. For example, a session may start out with talking but can become a coping activity.
