My primary interest is building, nurturing, and maintaining a healthy helping relationship with you. Through discernment, kindness, active listening, compassion, and unconditional acceptance, I honestly and empathically put my observations into words, allowing you to integrate new knowledge into an expanded sense of self without feeling shame.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began as a chemistry teacher, loving the relationships and watching students grow. Something inside told me I had a different calling: making my life about something bigger through the gifts I was given. I quickly learned that helping people is about meeting clients where they are and helping them find the answers they hold inside.

My goals for you

My approach to goal setting is collaborative. What do you want to accomplish, and why? When you have a big enough why, you're much more likely to find your how. My ultimate goal is to help you improve your mental and emotional well-being and lead a more fulfilling life, but this journey is about you.

Our first session

This is your therapy session, meant to help you. In our first visit, we'll establish a connection, get to know one another, explore what you want to accomplish, and determine how I can best help you. My hope is that you'll leave feeling accepted, respected, appreciated, and hopeful.
