Hi there, I'm Heather!

I work with adolescents, adults, and families using an individualized approach to help you achieve your therapeutic goals. Together, we'll identify and change negative thinking patterns and behaviors that contribute to distress. You'll learn to challenge negative thoughts, develop coping skills, and practice new behaviors.

My focus

I enjoy working with clients who want to learn about themselves and develop positive coping skills to manage their mental health needs. I treat a wide range of mental health concerns and help clients on their journey to become the best versions of themselves.

My approach

My approach is to be real. I want you to feel like you're having a conversation with someone you trust, not sitting in a therapy session. I use DBT to build skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. I also use CBT to explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected.
