I have maintained a private family counseling center since 1996. I view therapy as addressing the whole person—physical, emotional, and spiritual—with all three needing to be in balance for wellness.
My focus
I enjoy working with teens and young adults as well as couples and families. With my own background, both personal and military, I work well with clients experiencing trauma and are learning to become survivors.
My approach
My approach depends on the needs of the client. I like to think I have many useful tools in my toolbox. Overall, I tend to use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy framework. I also view my client as a physical body, an emotional body, and a spiritual body, with all three needing to be in balance.
