I am a licensed professional counselor with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. I have worked with all ages in individual, couple, and family counseling and have a background in substance and trauma. I believe it is important to look at the person as a whole and to listen to how to best support them.
My focus
In the past, I have worked with clients who have done a lot of trauma and substance abuse work. I feel like it is important to help my clients develop strong boundaries and understand how to use the tools we work on and develop for them.
My approach
I think it is important to get to know the person and understand how they would like to be supported. I have utilized multiple different therapy styles and like to remain flexible in my specialization because not one style works for everyone.
