I am a North Carolina native and an NC-based therapist practicing telehealth in Tennessee. I am licensed in three states: NC, TN, and AR. I work with clients starting where they are to get them to where they want to be, step by step. Holistically addressing mental and physical health conditions.

Life brings tough challenges, and I've been there too. I became a therapist to help people get back to themselves or feel comfortable being who they want to be. I create a safe space where you can unlearn habits, thoughts, and patterns that may have you feeling stuck.

I retired from community mental health to begin private practice part-time in 2020. Three main career tracks have been teaching, administration, and counseling. I am the author of several books and am currently writing one to help caregivers. I am also an ordained minister with my denomination and enjoy working with clients of most all ages.
