My ideal client is interested in the workings of memory, attention, and imagination, and in how playful engagement with language can support insight.

I pride myself on my therapeutic style centered around respect and empathy. I work with diverse mental health communities and bring a collaborative approach to every session.

I was very skeptical about Zoom therapy. I thought therapy had to be in person to be conducive. However, Monica is great. Even via Zoom I feel I can open up to her. I have been going through the worst time of my life and she is giving tools on everything from how to deal with it, move forward and actually get some sleep. She let me decide on my own that I also needed anti-depressants, and has been encouraging about it. I also tried to make an appointment with my insurance with a psychiatrist and the first appointment they would give was almost 4 weeks out. She contacted my insurance and I got into a psychiatrist within 2 days. She is doing everything possible to expedite getting me out of a dark place.

There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in. The cracks show up in your dreams, the connections in what you speak about week to week. I listen for what your inner Self is trying to communicate, what you don't know you don't know. You can say anything in the room, or nothing. The breaking open of the heart allows the love in.
