I have lived a long and colorful life. I've made good and bad choices. I have 22+ years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My life's work can be summed up in three words: "offering people hope".

I am a licensed professional counselor with more than 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I completed my Clinical Mental Health Master's Program at Mercer University in 2016 and have been working in multiple settings, such as inpatient hospitals, private practice, and outpatient clinics.

Through solution-focused techniques, insight-oriented therapies, and motivational interviewing, people develop coping skills to shift beliefs, change behaviors, and overcome negative past events. Clients learn to improve their social interactions and personal development to reduce anxiety, depression, and other issues.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you've spent a lot of time trying to navigate the world as a neurodivergent adult or while managing anxiety, depression, or family challenges. I work with adults 18 and older, including LGBTQ+ and BIPOC clients, in a warm, compassionate, and straightforward way using CBT, ACT, and EFT lens.
