Her education and training have led her to study abroad in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she collaborated with NGOs to address social determinants of health and health inequality.

I'm a Louisiana native who has almost 10 years of experience in the clinical setting. I've worked in various settings, including clinical, federal, intensive inpatient, school, and prison rehabilitative settings. In that work, I've developed skills to manage even the most complex disorders. I'm also an EMDR trained.

My approach to therapy is looking at the total mind, body, and spirit of a person and how all areas of life can affect mental health. I specialize in a variety of areas, such as Anxiety, Depression, LGBTQ, and OCD, to name a few.

I have a passion for working with clients experiencing life transitions, including divorce and bereavement issues, stress management, anger management, and those interested in personal growth. Additionally, I enjoy working with young adults, college students, substance abuse, and vocational counseling.

I am licensed in Illinois and Utah with 6 years of professional work experience in community mental health and substance abuse. While working in community mental health has been a wonderful experience, I decided to move forward in my career and have been in private practice for 6 years now.
