My therapeutic style is warm, engaging, and genuine. I take an eclectic approach to counseling in which I enjoy working with people from all different lifestyles. I help people work through depression, anxiety, addictions, relationship difficulties, stress management, identity challenges, and emotional awareness.

I am excited to get to know you and help you reach your goals for therapy. Finding a therapist can be hard, and that relationship matters for you and your therapeutic journey. My goal as a therapist is to help you reach the goals we set together in therapy and establish a safe place for you to help achieve them.

At Ash and Ember Holistic Therapy, I walk alongside those navigating life's fires: trauma, burnout, and challenges. Through trauma-informed, integrative, heart-centered practices, we reclaim your strength, voice, and spark: rising out of survival, with courage and intention, into a life that is fully and authentically yours.

I'm open to helping all clients with all problems, issues, and temperaments. I prioritize engaging and building rapport through listening, reflecting, and understanding a person's issues. From there we collaborate in exploring and identifying the problems creating stress, anxiety, sadness, and other emotions.

My primary goal is to empower you to find confidence within yourself, take accountability, and navigate your mental health journey. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults facing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and trauma.

I work with children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families dealing with a variety of mental health conditions. My specialties include working with neurodivergent children and adults. My approaches are trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, neurodiversity-affirming, and person-centered, tailored to each client's individual needs.

I work with clients navigating anxiety, anger management, depression, trauma, ADHD, and relationship or family conflicts. My focus is on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges and build on your strengths.

Welcome! I have over 25 years of counseling with couples, families, and individuals. In 2010, I earned my doctorate from St. Louis University in Counseling and Family Therapy. Since that time, I have worked in higher education, helping supervise and teach the next generation of counselors. My original passion remains - working with clients.

I have experience helping clients with stress and anxiety, anger management, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
