I work with adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, adjustment, and stress disorders. I provide a safe and judgment-free space for you to express your feelings and work on coping skills to better manage your symptoms. My goal is to help you increase your overall functioning when dealing with active or new stressors.

I'm positively challenged by working with clients of varying ages and stages in life. My practice focuses on your whole life story, including family, interests, and personal characteristics.

I am a clinical/health psychologist, inter-faith minister, and hypnotherapist. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief, chronic illness, cultural stress, career counseling, parenting, and men's issues, among others.

I tend to use an eclectic approach, with many of the interventions coming from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and a foundation in Motivational Interviewing. And, Heavy on Socratic Questioning. I focus diagnostically on mild to moderate anxiety and depression, as well as have experience in the more traditionally persistent diagnoses.

I offer short-term goal-oriented therapy whereby you will have opportunities to use strategies outside of the therapy platform as a means for overcoming intrusive thoughts, doubt, worry, anxiety, and or depression.

I just love to see people who feel down, get back up and soar to higher heights. Life transitions and unexpected downturns, are a difficult part of living. However, you can overcome them through positive thinking, healthy behaviors, and resilience.

With more than 30 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults ages 5 and older in community mental health settings. I have had the privilege of supporting individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds through a wide range of life's challenges.
