I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience helping individuals and families work through anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationships.

I take a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy, using evidence-based techniques to help you navigate challenges such as legal issues, family relationships, and emotional regulation. My goal is to provide a supportive space where we can work together to build insight, resilience, and coping strategies tailored to your needs.

I prefer the informal first-name approach, so please call me Jan. I'm drawn to Family Systems Theory because it honors both individual and relationship dynamics. I work with people navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, and self-esteem issues.

I tend to use an eclectic approach, with many of the interventions coming from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and a foundation in Motivational Interviewing. And, Heavy on Socratic Questioning. I focus diagnostically on mild to moderate anxiety and depression, as well as have experience in the more traditionally persistent diagnoses.

Through psychotherapy, I work collaboratively with you to establish your values, beliefs, and goals while overcoming self-defeating patterns that have blocked you from having the life you desire. I help you understand your past so you can move successfully into your future.
