I am licensed in Oklahoma and Oregon with 6 years of professional counseling work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, parenting issues, self esteem, Autism and other neurodivergent populations, and various career difficulties.

I'm a therapist with 20 years of experience helping adults and adolescents with grief, trauma, mental health, sex and sexuality, problematic substance use, behavioral addictions, and many other concerns. I am open-minded and non-judgmental, and LGBTQ+ allied.

I work with adults navigating trauma, family conflict, chronic illness, workplace stress, burnout, and immigrant or first-generation cultural concerns. I also support families adjusting to a child's Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. Together, we'll advocate for your needs and goals.

I enjoy spending time with my dog, cats, and chickens. My kids are adults, but I try to spend as much time with them as possible. My approach is to set clear goals and treat every session as an opportunity to make progress. I use an eclectic style and different therapy approaches to individualize our work together to best meet your needs.

Starting therapy can be incredibly difficult and scary. I try to ease that difficulty and discomfort by bringing compassion, authenticity, and curiosity to the therapy space. My name is Jacky (김재옥) & my name translates to "pearl of wisdom" in Korean. I am an LCSW in OR (pending in WA) with 11 yrs of exp in MH. My journey began advocating for individuals in the criminal justice system in public defender offices. As a former DACA kid and SA survivor, I carry a deep understanding of resilience and hope in everything I do.
