Starting therapy can be incredibly difficult and scary. I try to ease that difficulty and discomfort by bringing compassion, authenticity, and curiosity to the therapy space. I help support clients through whatever challenges they are facing to be able to realize the version of themselves they hope to be.

My treatment philosophy centers on building a strong therapeutic relationship and rapport. This foundation allows me to effectively address your individual needs and support you in achieving your personal goals. My approach is to listen with compassion and understanding, and the knowledge that when someone takes the step to come to therapy, they do so from a position of strength. Understandably, it can also be very uncomfortable to divulge so much about yourself to a stranger, and with that, I honor and acknowledge that you have taken that step.

I am a trauma treatment specialist and skilled co-occurring provider. I also help professionals, first responders, and those needing help with vicarious trauma.

I studied at Boise State University where I obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on working with marginalized communities. I am a licensed clinical social worker, and I am also certified in mediation.

I'm dedicated to a life of constant learning and endless growth through mindfulness, gratitude, and a sense of humor. I find some of my greatest lessons have been learned while recreating in the great outdoors, through movement like yoga and dance, and communing with other living beings, including my rescue dog, Luna.

I grew up in a Latino family, surrounded by military members, and spent summers with my mom on communes in Oregon. This gave me a wide understanding of humankind. I am a clinical supervisor/counselor whose focus includes trauma, healing the inner child, changing survival skills to thrive skills, inner critic ninja skills, and freedom from shame.
