I have lived a long and colorful life. I've made good and bad choices. I have 22+ years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My life's work can be summed up in three words: "offering people hope".

I work with children, adolescents, and young adults facing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, panic attacks, adjustment disorders, mood disorders, and behavioral challenges. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy, I support clients in making progress and feeling better.

Therapy can feel like a scary step into the unknown. I provide empathetic listening without judgment as you share what you're feeling and experiencing. My approach is creating a safe, comfortable space where you feel heard. I'm here to help you navigate your life, understand your feelings, and move forward.

Welcome. I am a licensed clinical social worker holding licenses in Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and South Carolina. I have been in practice for 43 years, with specialties in general mental health and behavioral health problems and challenges. This includes depression, anxiety, adjustment, mood, relationship, and marital problems and concerns.

I have worked with a wide range of concerns to include anxiety, depression, parenting and family problems, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in both children and adults, along with adolescents, and concerns around addiction.

Life, work, school, and families are often full of challenges, stress, and sometimes serious conflict, pain, and grief. I help people learn to overcome hurts and challenges, reduce and manage stresses, and heal and strengthen relationships.
