A native of Charleston, South Carolina. I have provided counseling for the past 35 years (27 years of that in private practice). I graduated from St. Andrews Parish High School and the College of Charleston before receiving my master's degree in clinical counseling from The Citadel.

For the past 23 years, I’ve been helping kids, teens, and families work through life’s ups and downs. I like to call myself “the cool therapist”—and so far, all of my clients would agree. Why? Because I keep therapy real, relatable, and yes—even fun.
