A native of Charleston, South Carolina. I have provided counseling for the past 35 years (27 years of that in private practice). I graduated from St. Andrews Parish High School and the College of Charleston before receiving my master's degree in clinical counseling from The Citadel.

I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor who specializes in supporting children, teens, young adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I provide a compassionate and collaborative space where clients can explore emotions, build coping skills, and move toward healing and growth.

I believe the most important thing I can offer as a counselor is this: genuine care. A mentor once told me, “Nobody cares what you know until they know that you care,” and that has stayed with me throughout my career. It shapes how I show up in every session, with authenticity, presence, and respect for your experience.

I utilize Christian Counseling and an Eclectic approach (a combination of talk therapy and somatic/holistic practices). I have experience working with a wide range of individuals, with my most recent experience including college students and young adults.
