Welcome. I am a licensed clinical social worker holding licenses in Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and South Carolina. I have been in practice for 43 years, with specialties in general mental health and behavioral health problems and challenges. This includes depression, anxiety, adjustment, mood, relationship, and marital problems and concerns.

With the use of CBT, I assist clients with identifying, addressing, and learning coping strategies to manage their current struggles. I believe that empowering individuals to overcome challenges will assist them overall. I challenge individuals to learn and use coping mechanisms that will help them move forward.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Virginia and South Carolina. I am a former teacher who worked with the regular and special education environments. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from the University of the Cumberlands.

Recognizing the need to share your vulnerability can be difficult and overwhelming, and not knowing how to move forward leaves us stuck and unable to creatively think of solutions.
