I have 20 years of experience with severe, acute and chronic mental illness and personality disorders. I work with veterans, first responders and domestic violence survivors as well as anger and behavioral management.

I have a mission to help those who find themselves stuck grow stronger through education based on up-to-date information about the mind and body, while allowing for your growth at your own pace. Science has learned that there is a lot more to our problems than being able to 'just deal with it,' and I aim to help you be more prepared in life.

I am a holistic and integrative therapist and his core principles are compassion, collaboration, and transparency. I have extensive experience in counseling individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, work/life balance stressors, life transitions, substance use, and other areas.

I became a therapist because I have always been inspired by the resilience of the human spirit. My approach begins with appreciation for your life story and recognizing your strengths, because you have survived 100% of your hardest days so far. Using mindfulness & somatic/ relaxation techniques to establish a sense of safety, we can allow distressing memories to resurface and be re-processed with EMDR to address patterns and enhance healing.

I like to meet the client where they are at in life and treatment. I like to gauge what methologies are going to work for them, rather than make them mold to a single methodology. I employ empathy, person centered approaches as well as psychoeducational materials and worksheets. I like to help the client, but help the client help themselves.

I provide strength-based individual therapy. I'm experienced in multiple areas including grief and loss, substance use, anxiety and depression, cultural strength and dissonance, elders and caregiving issues, as well as Native American concerns.
