I specialize in helping burned-out helpers—teachers, healthcare workers, caregivers—unpack the overwhelm, set healthier boundaries, and reconnect with themselves. I specialize in trauma-informed care, integrating evidence-based practices to address how trauma affects you emotionally, physically, and relationally. My own experiences with adversity inform my practice, teaching me the importance of compassion, patience, and connection in healing.

My name is Jacky (김재옥) & my name translates to "pearl of wisdom" in Korean. I am an LCSW in OR (pending in WA) with 11 yrs of exp in MH. My journey began advocating for individuals in the criminal justice system in public defender offices. As a former DACA kid and SA survivor, I carry a deep understanding of resilience and hope in everything I do.

I provide support to adults who are grieving the loss of their beloved one by having their grief witnessed. Grief is not something you get over, through, under, or around. Grief becomes a part of your life.

Therapy with me is collaborative, relational, and rooted in liberation, not symptom suppression. I don’t believe in passive therapy where you vent and nothing changes. I also don’t believe in cold, clinical therapy that disconnects you from your humanity. We build something real together.
