As a client-centered therapist, I strive to understand your narrative to utilize theories and approaches to therapy that best fit with your needs. These theories include, but are not limited to, Trauma-informed person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR.

I use an eclectic approach to treat depression, anxiety, personality disorders, LGBTQIA issues, marriage/couples, and family counseling. I work with therapeutic modalities including CBT, DBT, the Gottman Method, Attachment Theory, Grief Counseling, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Counseling.

I am an EMDR certified counselor who specializes in trauma, in all of its many forms. I also have years of experience working with grief, disability issues, substance use disorders, self-harming behaviors, lgbt issues, and providing gender affirming care.
