I'm a licensed therapist in Hood River, Oregon. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is warm, direct, and depth-oriented. I'm here to help you understand what's beneath the surface, not just manage symptoms.

I know that taking first step in finding help may not be easy, but you are safe with me. I have been working in the mental healthe field for forty years on a variety of issues; anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and co-morbid medical concerns to name a few.

I grew up in a Latino family, surrounded by military members, and spent summers with my mom on communes in Oregon. This gave me a wide understanding of humankind. I am a clinical supervisor/counselor whose focus includes trauma, healing the inner child, changing survival skills to thrive skills, inner critic ninja skills, and freedom from shame.

I came to private practice after years working in a public mental health setting, and I bring that same grounded, thoughtful presence to every session. I genuinely believe that finding the right fit with a therapist matters, I'm here to make sure you feel heard and valued.
